With a limited budget and a strong need for a web presence to draw a younger audience and the opening of their new facility, the O'Reilly Theater, The Pittsburgh Public Theater needed a new website. The catch, design the site before the facility was completed. The site provides information on currents shows and to provide information to subscribers and those new to theater experience.
My work with the Public Theater continued with MAYA. We created a dynamic information environment that uses off-the-shelf technology to extend the theater experience beyond the boundaries of their nationally acclaimed architecture. Using Director and Flash, we were able to develop animations that provide information on the theater and movie-trailer type animations for each performance.
